Production leader with 20 years of experience holding progressive roles for FORD Motor Company and Greif. He has a Bachelors in Organizational Leadership from Purdue and is a Six Sigma Green Belt. During his summers from college he worked in US Steel and Inland Steel Mills. He has worked in union environments during his entire career with USW and the UAW. • Launched a quality initiative and implemented processes to hold employees more accountable, resulting in a significant reduction in customer complaints from two per month to zero.
• Improved work-life balance by implementing the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program, reducing weekly work hours from 72 to 40 while eliminating staff turnover, previously at a rate of 14 employees lost in six months.
• Installed a safety ventilation system in the warehouse, significantly reducing excessive temperatures and creating a safer and more comfortable environment for staff, thereby enhancing productivity and employee well-being.
• Identified and eliminated duplicate personnel efforts, which resulted in a reduction of headcount and saved $2.1M without any layoffs.
• Spearheaded a project to prevent losses from materials falling out of trailers while docking, collaborating with suppliers to develop a permanent fix and saving $28K.
