• Conducted machine vision feasibility studies, and selected hardware with external lighting, filters, and lenses.
• Prototyped, commissioned, and evaluated machine vision systems for 8 companies.
• Executed various machine vision tasks such as gauging, barcode reading, OCR, defect detection, presence/absence, part verification, pattern matching, sorting, Flexibowl picking, and 3D inspections.
• Deployed, tested, and debugged machine vision systems, including Cognex and Keyance systems.
• Developed vision system interfaces to other systems such as PLC, ROS2, and robot systems.
• Led successful Factory & Site Acceptance Tests (FAT & SAT), ensuring compliance with relevant standards and requirements.
• Translated and refined a C++ image processing pipeline to Python for robotic laser detection, using OpenCV and YOLOV8 to improve center-finding accuracy, enhancing robotic placement precision.
• Created web interface using React framework integrated with ROS to monitor the robots.
• iRVision: Calibrated camera using a checkerboard pattern and located patterns using a GPM locator.
• TCP Teaching: Used pointer to teach the TCP of the Robot using a 4-point method. Repeated with different methods such 3-point, and 6-point methods and compared the results.
• TP Program Setup: Made a TP Program to get the pose of the pallet block with vision data from the camera.
