• Managed daily operation of the QC lab to ensure the daily function of the lab.
• Controlled release of Raw materials to ensure production is kept to schedule.
• Managed daily operations for fast-paced QC lab to ensure Finished Products, Raw Materials and Semi-finished products are released in a timely manner to provide increased service levels.
• Attended daily production meetings to identify and help expedite samples on late orders to reduce the backlog of late orders.
• Ensured QC lab compliance to quality standards (FDA, NSF, and GMP).
• Developed and validated methods for analysis of botanical extracts and supplements by ICP-MS for heavy metals and mineral analysis.

• Conducted Method Transfer in accordance with relevant protocols.
• Responsible for the installation of new non-Perkin Elmer instrumentation onto Perkin Elmer Total Chrome Data Acquisition System.
• Responsible for training of all new lab staff on instrumentation including Perkin Elmer Total Chrome data acquisition system.
• Responsible for validation of upgrade of Perkin Elmer Total Chrome data acquisition system to version 6.2.
• Used MRP requirements to schedule manufacturing and packaging of solvents and solutions.
• Was responsible for testing of all incoming raw materials using GC, HPLC, UV/Vis, FT-IR and wet chemistry.
