• Identify the root cause of problems and delays and expedite corrective action.
• Assisting in the successful delivery of PPAP and launch for all programs, engineering changes, etc.
• Last assignment was to launch customer Mercedes Benz BIW (Body In White) underbody assemblies GLE, GLA, GLC models.
• Perform quality system and process audits to evaluate potential or existing supplier capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and initiate supplier standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
• Manage quality technicians, to visually inspect, and document vehicle build sub-assembly process quality issues during the build process.
• Establish work instructions for layout Inspectors.
• Coordinate layout inspector training, track and ensure all gage certifications are current.
• Utilize CMM software to generate GD&T information metrology output.
