Automotive Quality Professional with experience in OME, Tier 1 & 2 suppliers/manufacturers. He is a Certified Engineer In Training (EIT), has an MBA and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
His experience includes a number of manufacturing processes including several types of molding and aluminum / and magnesium die casting. He just completed a contract with FORD and is looking for a new opportunity to improve product quality and processes. Grab him before he is gone!
• 6 Sigma DMAIC problem solving used extensively on a daily basis to improve processes.
• Worked on Automotive seating program for 6 months 12 hours a day 6 days a week in quality.
• Launched 4 injection molding Instrument panel tools for the program.
• Responsible for feasibility support on two instrument panel programs.
• Responsible for cost control and budgets for projects.
• Processes inside the plant include injection molding, roto cast, slush, soft foam polyurethane, soft-touch painting, and nickel electroforming.
• Responsible for the initiation of all requests for tool design and construction, break-in of tools for production use, sample and prototype work, and tool improvement programs after production start-up.
• Acting as Program Manager for transfers of programs under launch to the Iowa City Plant from our sister plants.

• Launched new program for 1999, 2000, and 2001 model years.
• Manufacturing processes included RIM(Reaction Injection Molding), injection molding, extrusion, aluminum, and magnesium die casting, airbag assembly and testing, hand, and robot painting, blow molding and rotary, and sandwich and co-injection molding.
• Responsible for launching over 50 injection tools during launch mode.
