Project Engineering /Maintenance Manager (155010)

He has held progressive roles within two companies managing project engineering, maintenance, and reliability teams in a refinery, materials, and metal manufacturing environment. He is highly skilled in identifying cost savings or optimization opportunities through using Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Changes in senior leadership at his company have this exceptional talent exploring new leadership opportunities in the chemical/metals industry. Responsible for all maintenance at the Refinery and manufacturing facility, including Preventive (PM), Predictive (PdM), and Corrective (CM) maintenance practices.
• Lead a diverse team of 40 maintenance technicians and supervisors to drive excellence in all processes, focusing on plant equipment reliability, inspection, and mechanical integrity programs.
Lead and execute planning and implementation of capital projects
• Manage a team of 3 project engineers for capital project execution and equipment life cycle planning.
Manage value and delivery of facility Turnarounds from concept to full execution.
Lead and execute large capital projects
• Lead cross-functional project teams, integrate to support operational needs, manage engineering support, select and manage Engineering. Procurement and Construction 3rd party contractors.
Responsible for projects from conception to final completion and capitalization using Front End Loading (FEL) project management methodology.
• Directly responsible for the design, engineering, Scope of Work (SOW), budgeting, competitive bidding, and execution of large capital projects.
