Mechanical Engineer (227322) MBA, MSME, BSME / Metals Mfg., Machining, Assembly, Fabrication / Will relo
Mechanical Engineer and Systems Engineer with strong communication skills and experience managing and leading out mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion. He has an MBA and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. He collaborates with other departments including manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and operations to ensure production output and goals. Iheanyi ‘s experience includes performing different/versatile roles such as mechanical, project, quality, environment, and safety engineering.
He is currently employed but is open to confidentially explore new opportunities to grow and expand his career. He is single, renting, and willing to relocate. His notable experience includes:
• Develop/create a maintainability plan for engine program.
• Lead/Coordinate Maintainability project which includes Organizational (O-level), Intermediate (I-Level), and Depot level maintenance task towards engine design and development.
• Utilize project management tools such as Agile to drive engine program completion.
• Provide Reliability/Maintainability/System Safety/Testability analyses and design guidance for turbomachinery systems on a variety of aircraft platforms.
• Analyze/conduct Failure modes and Effect (Criticality) Analysis (FMEA/FMECA) from the component and the functional levels, System Safety, System Hazards, Fault Tree, Maintainability Tasks, Reliability Predictions, and Testability analyses.
• Coordinated with a maintenance supervisor to update the list of tools required to support maintenance repair on the assemble shop.
• Created purchase requisition on SAP using ME51N for capital expense projects or service orders to contractors for projects that require outsourcing and ensuring the purchase orders (PO) are issued to the right vendors.
• Developed/Created work procedures for training purposes for operators and engineers to follow to ensure the plant continues to meet its production rate such as power outage procedure, operation of degreasing Hoyt system tutorial, etc.
• Requested budget through writing on Capital Appropriate Request (CAR) ranging between $20,000 – $500,000 for projects that require outsourcing to vendors and contractors for mechanical-related issues or purchases.
• Supervised and coordinated the repair and installation of systems/types of machinery or equipment such as Chiller systems, heat exchangers, Dc-motors, cooling towers, boilers, gears, clutches, cooling water breaks, Wastewater transplant retention tank liner replacement, Main Oil/Water Separator, Mist Eliminators (which helps improve air quality in cellars/mill basements) etc. This included coordinating with vendors or outsourcing companies for part replacements.
• Coordinated, performed and supervised shipping of hazardous waste and environmental tasks in according to OSHA, CT state EPA and DEEP regulations.
• Identified and maintained records of Pratt & Whitney’s SEV commercial and military Engine build tools that require calibration such as lifting fixture compressors, balance Arbors, Gauges, Calipers, lift adapters etc.
• Coordinated with tool tower operator(s) to ensure that tools that are due for calibration for the month had spare(s) that can be used for production to ensure there isn’t a hold on engine build due to calibration of such tools.
• Developed/provided tutorials and guidelines to mechanics on how to properly use the dc-torque wrenches which are assigned to their workstation.
