Manufacturing Engineer (274960) BSME, Black Belt / Manufacturing, CNC Machining, Programming, Fixturing / Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, and Reading PA areas

He is currently employed but is interested in making a change as his current environment is unorganized and not supportive of making changes to improve processes. He is looking for opportunities in the Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, and Reading PA areas. His notable experience includes:

• Hands-on Process Engineer with composite material experience working at a premier aerospace OEM, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation.
• Improve and maintain Flight Safety Critical operation sheets utilizing Solumina software.
• Experience designing tooling and fixtures with multiple solid modeling software such as Autodesk Inventor V9, CATIA V5, Creo 4, SolidWorks 2022. Also fluent with AutoCad.
• Extensive experience designing and fabricating custom fixtures utilizing tool room equipment such as milling machines and CNC capable Bridgeport milling machines, lathes and CNC capable lathes, and surface grinders.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills; quick to develop positive rapport with others.
• Tasked with supporting and optimizing all machining processes related to M1002 projectile, as well as other product as necessary.

• Design manual locating tool to positively orientate sabot assemblies in the lathe.
• Design machine shop floor plan and develop manufacturing processes, manage machine shop personnel.
• Layout new machine shop to optimize part flow using SolidWorks 2022.
• Participate in machine/automation selection.
• Program and maintain CNC controlled milling and turning processes in a high value precision valve manufacturing facility.
• Program CNC milling and turning machines utilizing Creo 4 CAM software, NiCam Programming Language, and manual programming.
• Program and maintain CNC controlled milling and turning processes in a high volume hay tools manufacturing facility.
• Develop budgetary purchasing agreement to solicit quotations for new automated small round parts CNC turning cell.
• Program CNC milling and turning machines utilizing Esprit 2017 CAM software, APT Programming Language, and manual programming.
• Manage 2 capital acquisition projects.
o Both projects included new CNC machines and process flow mapping for automated cells, quoting, generating timelines, programming, and tracking/reporting project progress.
o Both projects were $150,000 each.
• Programmed and maintained CNC controlled milling process’ in a high-volume firearm component manufacturing facility.
• Maintained CNC controlled Swiss-style machines.
• Designed fixturing/tooling with Pro E Wildfire 4.0.
• Participate in Kaizan events and create/maintain autoclave cure cycles.
• A key player in improving first pass yield of the spar from 50% to 98% in one year.
