TX-based Mechanical Maintenance Reliability Leader with 25+ years of chemical plant and refinery operations. He has a BSME from Texas A&M. He has a proven background and is highly skilled in maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, rotating equipment engineering, fixed equipment engineering, project engineering, and design engineering in the oil, gas, and chemical industries. He has managed maintenance and engineering teams of up to 50 people. He has led CAPEX projects up to $20M for equipment rebuild, installations, and upgrades.
He has an incredible depth of experience improving maintenance and reliability for his employers. He brings broad equipment and technical skills to the table and would be an incredible addition to any chemical/refinery leadership team looking to raise the bar. He is a Certified EIT in the state of Texas and has a TWIC card. He has vast equipment and plant experience gained from working the Gulf Coast chemical corridor. • Evaluate equipment problems and conduct root cause failure analysis investigations on failed equipment, develop an action plan to eliminate repeat failures, and implement correct actions, as necessary.
• Optimize preventative maintenance tasks and activities, identify gaps, and develop corrective action plan, drive implementation, and evaluate improvement performance.
• Utilize ASME and API codes and standards for fixed equipment calculations, including minimum thickness assessments, vessel re-rates, and reinforcements.
• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance on plant equipment in various chemical plants and oil refiners.
• Led mechanical reliability program to achieve best-in-class results in terms of reliability of the operation and life-cycle cost for rotating equipment and fixed equipment in world-class refineries and chemical plants.
• Monitor mean time between equipment failures and perform root cause analysis to identify solutions to eliminate chronic equipment problems.
• Performed lubrication and vibration analysis on reciprocating compressors.

• Manage Scope, Schedule, and Budget for large capital projects and manufacturing programs, and deliver stated project and program objectives.
