OH-based Maintenance Manager with 20 years of success in leading multicraft maintenance teams to support operations for metals manufacturing companies like Timken, US Steel, Federal Metals, and others. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt, a Journeyman Die Maker in addition to leading Maintenance Teams. He has a Bachelors and has completed apprenticeship courses in Mechanical Engineering and is one course away from completing his MBA in the fall of 2023.
He led maintenance teams of up to 50 members to support all processes and equipment that are in a foundry, steel mill, and CNC machining operations. • Develop a training program for new hires and set a path in motion for existing employees to train for the future in a hot dip galvanizing environment which included sulfuric acid batch pickling and steel shot blast.
• Plan and Execute Projects and Major Repairs
• Manage Central Maintenance crews including HVAC, Diesel Garage, and Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Technicians, along with Outside Contractor Services.
• Led a team of 50.
• Manage the maintenance of equipment, safety, and continuous improvement projects of multiple facilities in a 24/5 “Just in Time” manufacturing environment.
• Set up training program and testing for new and existing employees.
• Establish and develop a comprehensive asset-based “Preventative Maintenance” program Create a Team environment as a driving force to company goals.
• Developed new position “Plant Service” to have maintenance personnel dedicated to production needs.
