  • 26 years experience as a professional Chemical Engineer performing Process Engineering, Green and Brownfield plant development, process optimization & development. Capital project engineering, Automation, and Controls.
  • Chemical process experience in: Chemical Plants (Industrial, fine, consumer, coatings, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals), Oil, Aerospace, Wastewater, and Water Treatment, Mining.
  • PLC / HMI: Extensive Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Intellution, Wonderware, GE-Fanuc, Fisher Rosemount Honeywell., Siemens, Delta V, Scneider/Modicon
  • DCS:. RS3: Provox, Experion PKS, Delta V control systems
    Automation experience in (PLC, DCS, HMI), process development, production optimization, process design and start-ups.
  • Process includes CIP skids, Ultra and Nano filtration systems, Precipitation reactors and clarifiers, sludge handling/filtration, Yokagawa instrumentation, Rotork valves/actuators, Schneider Electric / MODICON / iFIX HMI Controls.
  • Chemical Plant Process design: FEL, PFD and P&ID development as well as process analysis via conventional and simulation methods, Aspen Hysys, PRO II, Pipe-Flo, and HTRI.
  • Prepared Instrument data sheets, Cause and Effects Charts, requisition packages (Smart Plant), P&ID’s, Loop Diagrams and control narratives.
  • Performing process design, equipment sizing, Automation, controls, development, design and programming of Honeywell Hybrid controls and HMI’s for custom Pilot / R&D processes and systems manufactured on site.
  • Controls system development and commissioning for various industries
  • Team leader and supervisor over project Controls Engineer and I/C Technicians.
