Highly motivated Controls Engineer with extensive experience designing, implementing, debugging, and improving control systems to drive success with projects and customers. He is a Mechanical Engineer who is skilled in the setup and programming of Fanuc, ABB, Motoman, and Nachi robots. He has designed and implemented control systems for robotic weld cells, stand-alone machines, and specialty machines both for upgrades and new builds. • Responsible for establishing standard maintenance procedures to reduce MTBF(Mean Time Before Failure), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and increase OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency).
• Mentored trades and electricians to adhere to best practices.
• Optimize line efficiency and cycle time reduction projects to increase line throughput.
• Install new equipment to improve line throughput, design and implement all aspects of the control system, and mentor mechanical designs of equipment.
