Senior EI&C Engineer with 20+ years experience in electrical and control systems design and commissioning for oil & gas, pipeline, compressor stations, mining, and paper mill industries. Experienced in all facets of EI&C project execution: conceptual, estimating, front-end engineering, planning, detailed engineering, testing, construction, installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, as well as project management. Extensive experience leading engineering design teams on both large and small projects and bringing projects to completion on schedule. Able to manage complete projects.
• Write control narratives, review P&IDs, QA/QC on Instrument database for a large American O&G client. (2022).
• Oversee a team of engineers/programmers in the upgrading and updating of a number of gathering and processing • facilities for Conoco Phillips.
• Design Lead on two projects to upgrade two gas turbine control panels and one Station control panel from GE to Control Logix.
• The DCS commissioning was behind schedule when I started and the project ended up making on-spec product approximately one week ahead of schedule.
• I&C Lead (Utilities) on a multi-billion dollar project to increase production at the Albian facility from 155,000 to 255,000 bpd.
• Lead I&C team in the development of all engineering deliverables required to install and commission a 20 MW low-pressure steam turbine.
• Led two engineering teams during the design phase of an SIS and BPCS upgrade of two Agrium ammonia distribution terminals.
• I&C Lead on an oil processing facility expansion from 100,000 to 150,000 bpd.
