\u2022 Develop necessary Quality-related documentation during the initial phases of the new product launch process and maintain that documentation throughout the life of the program.
\u2022 Establish inspection and test instructions to assure compliance with customer Engineering Standards and specifications.
\u2022 Led Quality teams composed of 4 Quality Engineers, 3 Quality Supervisors, 4 CMM technicians, 9 Quality Auditors, 40 Quality Inspectors.<\/strong>
\u2022 Coordinate the development and submission of PPAP documentation and participate in the APQP process for new product launches as well as for products undergoing engineering changes.
\u2022 Facilitate corrective action using 8D and the Toyota Production System scientific problem-solving methodologies.
\u2022 Serve as the quality representative on several Product Business teams, perform internal quality systems audits, and interface with suppliers to address quality issues.
\u2022 Participated on new product development and extension\/enhancement teams to ensure deliverables including control plans, capability studies, dimensional verification reports, gage R&R and various other PPAP activities.
\u2022 Lead quality issue resolution and continuous improvement activities utilizing the 8D methodology.
\u2022 Additional responsibilities included facilitating corrective action initiatives as well as developing\/maintaining plant quality procedures, work instructions, and quality documents.
