\u2022 Facility is a union shop that consists of 135 USW members.
\u2022 Established OEE initiative for key equipment within the plant.
\u2022 Manage the engineering department, maintenance, and purchasing department for this premium aluminum and steel packaging company.
\u2022 Help drive these KPIs to exceed goals, including safety ORIR, employee OHI, Scrap reduction, uptime, OTIF, and OEE.
\u2022 Responsible for capital projects up to $12M USD.
\u2022 Manufacturing complex is comprised of four facilities totaling 440k square feet of active manufacturing space with 680 employees.
\u2022 Manage all plant capital projects including justification and capital requests.
\u2022 Manage all new product\/model launches from the award of business to SOP.
\u2022 Managed the development of an effective PM program using CMMS and maintenance KPI tracking to improve upon OEE and plant performance indicators.
\u2022 Serve as core team member for TS16949 compliance for engineering, maintenance, facilities, and EH&S.
\u2022 Business unit is comprised of 245 union employees within a 175,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
\u2022 Participated in the negotiation of the local union contract with the UAW.
\u2022 Implemented a preventative and predictive maintenance program using CMMS \/ EAM software and through Total Productive Maintenance or TPM.
\u2022 Completed an intensive five-month training program in the discipline of Six Sigma at this Tier 1 automotive supplier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
