He is skilled in both CNC and manual machines. He is accomplished at managing both tools and employees and takes a hands-on approach to teach the up-and-coming group of toolmakers. He can build new equipment from the ground up as well as rebuild and repair used equipment. He is also proficient in the wiring of tooling such as heaters in molds and proximity switches in stamping dies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Implemented the PM schedule for these tools and control spare parts inventory and determined the automotive industry and the sporting group industry.
\u2022 Managed Preventative Maintenance and all repairs of all tools and equipment.
\u2022 Involved in design reviews of new tooling prior to launch and give my approval on tool designs prior to Kick off and on tools that are ready to \u201cflip\u201d into production.
\u2022 Oversee the Programming Department and oversee and schedule the CNC Operations departments.
\u2022 Programming using PowerMill, Fusion360, and FeatureCAM software.
\u2022 Manage Preventative Maintenance and all repairs of over 200 tools.

\u2022 Assisted in the implementation of our CMMS software system for logging time and repairs of all tooling.
\u2022 Point of contact for all departments and outsourced companies that pertain to tooling.
\u2022 With this position, I oversaw all-new tool builds for all facilities in North America.
\u2022 After the design was agreed on, I would gather quotes from tool builders and award the tool build.
\u2022 I would troubleshoot tools in the press and find ways to increase cycle times and reduce scrap.
\u2022 Repair of stamping tools for the production of automotive components.
\u2022 Duties were to troubleshoot tools in the press and repair them as needed.
\u2022 Repair of stamping tools for the production components for tractor-trailers.
\u2022 Oversee programming and operation of CNC machines for the building of new stamping dies. I also set up other smaller CNC machines for small production runs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
