• Responsible for gauging including purchase, calibration, and gauge R & Rs.
• Internal IATF/TS 16949 auditor
• Evaluate dimensional checks using the SPC software package.
• Responsible for purchase of key equipment for the quality department (CMMs, X-ray unit, & Spectrometer).
• Responsible for maintaining IMDS (International Material Data System).
• Responsible for validation of all incoming material as well as inspection of new tooling.
• Responsible for maintaining quality in a facility that manufactured blower units, wheels, humidifiers and sheet metal assemblies for the heating and cooling industry.
• Responsibilities included first article inspection of sheet metal stampings, sheet metal assemblies, and spot welded products.
