• Managed customer delivery requirements (100% on-time delivery, No quality escapes).
• Integrated the operations to the existing organization, expanded the facility, refitted it, and performed full material inventories with less than 1% variance in book values.
Regained the pace and deliveries and reduced back orders (known as delinquencies at PCC) to virtually $0 after 4 months.
• Redesigned manufacturing processes with operations to increase inventory turns from below 3 to over 8 and increased on-time deliveries from below 70% to over 98%.
• In Santa Ana, developed manufacturing processes that increased deliveries from $700K monthly to $3.2M monthly.
Corrected a “behind schedule” condition to be ahead of schedule in four months (737MAX Titanium Wall).
Completely refitted a manufacturing facility whilst continuing and improving manufacturing throughput.
• Led 150+ personnel and achieved $70M annual revenue to include new product and process qualifications, and supply chain management ($40M).
Facilitated the recertification to AS9100C.
• From September 2013 through July 2014, set four monthly shipping records for the facility with EBIT above plan.
• Installed and operated two 7” aluminum extrusion presses, heat treatment line, and powder paint line for epoxy, urethane, and polyester powders.
• Installed and operated an integrated fabrication facility consisting of CNC Machining, Robotic Welding, GTAW and GMAW Welding capabilities, computer-assisted and manual high-volume sawing operations, and press operations up to 100 Tons, including design and implementation of all tooling.
• With the objective of gaining a higher market share in the automotive hardware industry, developed teams that designed and implemented several innovative manufacturing processes that resulted in an increase of revenues from $5 M/year to more the $25M while generating a 25% gross profit margin.
• Nurtured an environment that demonstrated fair-handed, tough management that brought about a 17:1 vote ratio against unionization by the United Steel Workers
• With P/L responsibility drove EBIT above corporate goals by removing operational constraints and Designing for Manufacturability (DFM)
