Talented Electrical Engineer with 23 years of international Electrical Engineering experience in project construction management, project estimation bidding, testing & commissioning, both in oil/gas, refinery, chemical plant, and industrial plant projects/services. He is a BSEE and has completed industry trainings relevant to power protection. His skills include project management, designing, bidding, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning I&C projects. • Perform detailed calculations to compute voltage drop, short circuit capacity, capacitor bank sizing, cable sizes, containment sizes, and breaker sizes and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications
• Compile data and write reports regarding existing or potential electrical engineering studies or projects.
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational, safety, or environmental standards.
• Carry out technical evaluations and vendor documentation review
• Estimate labor, material, or construction costs for budget preparation purposes.
• Hands-on supervision of site team composed of 3 supervisors, 5 foremen, and 100 labor force for the installation of 11kV switchgear, transformer, generator, DCS, cathodic protection, fire alarm system, telephone system, public address, lighting, power, lighting, grounding system and containment (tray, trunking, and conduit) both classified and non-classified areas.
• DCS upgrade, replacement of existing control and instrumentation set-up with the latest DCS at saline water conversion corporation
• Worked in various bidding projects for Saudi Aramco Refineries and Oil & Gas, Saudi Consolidated Electric Company.
• Preparing budgetary cost of proposed electrical/instrumentation scope of works in order to finalize bid estimation for project bidding submittal.
• Worked as commissioning engineer in Al-Taweelah B Extension Power and Desalination Plant
• Prepare for commissioning, start-up, and handover activities of the electrical system, and liaise with the consultants on daily commissioning activities. Compiles and produces the necessary documentation for each testing and commissioning activity.
